Sortable Economist Matrix: 2023 Edition

This chart show the correlation in opinions between every pair of economists, based only on a sample of questions from 2023 of the IGM Forum. Each square represents a correlation value, ranging from -1.0 (complete disagreement) to 1.0 (complete agreement), and provides a more accurate estimate of similarity than positions in a 2D space. To sort the economists, just click on a name.

The most important thing to remember is that despite their disagreements, economists mostly agree with each other. Almost all correlations below are positive.
